The types of patients Mountain Health Chiropractic & Neurology Center works
with...
We work with only those people who are serious about
getting well and taking the steps necessary to make it happen. We
do not work with those who have a "quick fix" mentality.
Not everyone is a good candidate for chiropractic
neurology... the following is to give you a good idea if we're a good
fit to work together.
Our chiropractic neurology patients are:
Those struggling with not knowing what else to do, where
else to go and who else to talk to about their health condition.
Usually they've
been told by someone, "We'll just wait to see what happens."
|
Our
patients are men and women of all ages and backgrounds. We also
work with children and infants.
|
Most of our patients come to see us because they're
frustrated and discouraged. We've had a lot of patients come in
to our office and say things like, "I’m
so discouraged with the medical system" or "I'm
frustrated because I've been to this doctor, this acupuncturist, this
massage therapist, this chiropractor, but nothing is working and
I don't know what else to do."
If we had to describe most of our patients, they would
be: women,
men, children and infants, that are...
>> Really tired of
being placed on prescription drugs all the time.
>> Have
been told they need surgery, but felt there was another way.
>> Sick and tired of feeling
sick and tired.
>> Disillusioned by traditional
medicine and want to get to the root problem of their condition.
While talking to Dr. Arthur at
a meeting he told me he could help me. I of course, did not believe him,
but made an appointment. After one treatment, I never again had that pain.
"I met Dr. Arthur at a networking event through a friend of mine. I have
had a back problem for 20 years that I had been told the only cure would be
for me to have my spine fused together.
I had sworn off chiropractic as a choice because there was no solution
for me there. I then experienced a severe eye pain that an ophthalmologist
charged me a great deal of money to investigate, but then told me there was
nothing wrong, ignoring the fact that I was in a great deal of pain.
While talking to Dr. Arthur at a meeting he told me he could help me.
I of course did not believe him, but made an appointment. After one treatment,
I never again had that pain. Who would have thought that a severe pain in
my eyeball could be caused by my neck?
Dr. Arthur did a work up on my back and told me he could help my back
problem. Up until this point, I could not allow anyone to touch my lower
back, let alone perform any kind of adjustment. He started slowly and over
the course of a year, eventually got my back to a place where he was able
to not only get me relief from the muscle spasms that were causing my pain
but also to get me to a place where I know that back surgery would never
be a solution.
One other thing I hadn’t realized when I started going there was I
was not even using my neck. When driving I was turning my body to look behind
me. He also got my neck to a place where I could turn comfortably and look
around me.
During the course of a year, he also provided education on supplements
to assist my body in healing. He has always been open to listening to me
and then sharing his knowledge with me to work as a team to get me to a better
place.
His methodology of adjustments is also not at all threatening or scary.
I never left his office feeling like I had been 'thumped' around. It has
been a great experience knowing Dr. Arthur and the staff at Mountain Health
and I appreciate what they have been able to do to aide me in achieving better
health."

Most of our patients have said...
- "I've been everywhere... no one
knows what's wrong with me... all my tests are negative, but I
am still having problems."
- "Why do I have to take these medications... they make me
feel worse. Isn't there a safer alternative that isn't
covering up the symptoms?"
- "I did spinal decompression treatment, but I am still having
problems."
- "My Doctor says I need surgery, but I
want another option."
- "My blood test is normal, so why do I
still have these symptoms and still feel horrible?"
- "Why do I still have back pain? The doctor said
the MRI of my lower back is negative. I don't understand what could
be causing this."
If this sounds familiar, we may be a good fit to work together.
Our patients care about their health and
not just being symptom free. They are looking to
correct a problem or condition and have the results be long-lasting.

As far as I am concerned,
there is only one chiropractor and I will always recommend Dr. Arthur
and Mountain Health.
"I had never visited a chiropractor in my life before going to Mountain
Health. I was afraid to, so I dealt with my painful issues by trying to ignore
them. After being referred to Dr. Arthur at Mountain Health by my mother, who
is also a patient, I decided to continue my visits on a regular basis.
When I first met with him, I was having continuous pain in my lower
back and my tailbone area was incredibly sensitive to the touch. Thankfully,
Dr. Arthur has the gift of patience. After many visits, he was able to adjust
my back without me practically jumping off the table in so much pain. I have
had other discomforts that have hindered me from working and life in general
and Dr. Arthur has always been able to successfully correct them.
As far as I am concerned, there is only one chiropractor and I will
always recommend Dr. Arthur and Mountain Health."
